building maps (no experience in UE and UDK)

TOO ALL YOU GUYS HERE:

I’m absolutely NEW to UDK
(in general I have no experience using UnrealEngine)
and I’ve seen that the file ending is .UDK
MY QUESTION IS:
Can I import finished maps from UDK directly into the CustomMaps folder
from UT3 (v2.1 of course = Titan Pack) and have it in the Map List etc…?
because all of the custom maps I’ve downloaded have always 1 file with the ending .ut3…

cheerz
Martin

As far as I know it is not possible: https://forums.epicgames/threads/915155-UDK-to-UT3

Is there a reason as to why you’d want to do this? I could understand if you were wishing to port an existing project from UDK to Unreal Engine 4. However, you’ve stated you’re new to both. So, it’s probably best to simply install the editor, download the free library content and sample packs, then start from there.
