Building Lighting Separately

It would be helpful, if we could bake lightmaps, shadowmaps and skyocclusion maps separately. It could make it easier to build lighting for larger levels and to build lighting on machines not having tons of memory.

The lighting system does not work in that way where that would be a benefit

Then does any good up-to-date documentation or tutorial exist on setting up lightmass/swarm for multiple machines?

Swarm still has the same memory requirements for each machine, it doesn’t split up the content itself it splits up what parts of it are being processed. Each machine still needs to have enough memory to load everything.
