Just to expose the cause of this for others’ benefit, Swarm was failing to start up because the PC name was just a number (eg, 1234). We will look to fixing this connection problem, but this can be fixed by renaming your computer name to include letters first, “PC1234”.
I am having the exact same problem and my PC’s name doesn’t seem to be the issue. As I have tried both naming my machine “DeltaW7” and “Delta-W7”. Neither option worked.
