thx a lot for support

Ok. When iam starting the UE4 editor.exe i get what i want. So it seems theses errors do not conflict with my goal to test .html5 export.

But after choosing .html5 Eport with a test scene it only generates .exe file?
What iam doing wrong.

After searching in other threads i´ve found some more detailed steps which have to be done first. But now my problem still is how to get the HTML5 Checkbox in the frontend.exe like in this picture [link text][1]

In my frontend build there is no HTML5 Checkbox. To get it there was an advice to clean and build UnrealFrontend again. But still no checkbox. There is no HTML5 folder under C:\Users\Documents\GitHub\UnrealEngine\Engine\Binaries\

At some screenshots i´ve seen that other users have HTML5 as Platform in Visual Studio. I only have this one →

No hint what i can try?
Sorry for pushing the thread but i have to decide which engine to use for upcoming projects. And target is html 5 output.

Hey Licht und Schatten-

Assuming you are using a source version of the engine (this should also work for the binary version from the launcher) the first thing you will need to do is uninstall the version of the engine you want to work with HTML5. You will need to download emscripten first (Download and install — Emscripten 3.1.33-git (dev) documentation) and after it has been installed you can then reinstall the engine version.

At this point if you are working with source code you can run the Setup.bat and GenerateProjectFiles.bat then build the engine from the .sln file. The first time you build the engine you will need to be in Development Editor configuration and Win64 platform. Once the engine is built you will need to create the project and open it at least once. After the project is created, back in Visual Studio you will need to change the configuration from Development Editor to Development and change the platform from Win64 to HTML5 and rebuild the project.

If you are not using source code, you still want to uninstall the engine version from the launcher and then download emscripten. Once that is installed you can reinstall the engine in the Launcher and the create a new project and go onward from there.

If you have any trouble along the way please feel free to let us know and we can help with any other issues you have.

Cheers
