Build and export orthomosaic

Hi,

I work with the promo licence and I try to export an orthomosaic of my project (nadir/oblique UAV dataset , about 1000 img with a Sony A7R / f 24mm calibrated).

What’s the workflow to build an orthomosaic (Jp2 or Ecw with worldfile) in a geographic projection system ? I have tried with the the “ortho projection” function but i don’t really understand how it works.

Hi Yoz,

If you have geo-referenced reconstruction it will be automatically correctly projected. You can also choose local coordinate system independent to the project system when generating the ortho projection.

To make ortho projection -

select area of interest with “set reconstruction region” tool
click “ortho tool”
setup parameters in the panel on the left side

Hi Martin,

I do not see the video showing how to generate a orthomosaic.

In the options that I have to export only I see Mesh, render, video, sketchfab and the reconstruction of the region.

Hi,

I managed to make the Orthophotographie but I couldn’t export it. I don’t have any option to export the ortho?

Hello,

You can export your orthophoto by clicking WORKFLOW - Export - Ortho photo.

There is whole tutorial in RC Help section - search for - Orthographic Projection.
