Build 1808360 some initial feedback/suggestions

I have only taken a quick look at some of it,

first I really like the in editor download samples feature, its awesome.

I quite like the way the import setting are displayed in the mesh viewers but if I were to accidently have rocket “calculate normals” when I wanted to “import normals” on import I would have to open the mesh in the viewer, change the import settings and then reimport (that also applies if I was just testing smoothing groups), so I think it would be better if I could just right click on the asset, click import and then be able to choose to import/calculate normals, I don’t think there would be a need for any other options because textures and materials…ect wouldn’t change anyway.

I like to be able to orbit around a mesh in the mesh viewers so I can check for smoothing issues/artifacts…ect, I did find the “use UE3 orbit controls” in the editor settings and the “follow cam” for skeletal meshes but I noticed that If I press and hold the middle mouse button then move the mouse by default it doesn’t do anything, I think it might be better if the middle mouse button did the orbit by default, I know its just my personal preference and I can turn it on so its no big deal but I just think it would be better.

and one last thing, I know I have requested it before but the ability to import LOD’s for static meshes is the last barrier between blender and rocket so having the “import LOD” button back for static meshes would be helpful and would perfect the blender to rocket workflow.

I really love these requests and will put them into our database right away. However, could you please separate out these into three feature requests? It will allow us to track them a lot more easily and assign people directly to them without any confusion.
