Bug with artifact and it removing platforms on EGS Developer portal.

I am experiencing a bug that is preventing me from making patches on EGS dev portal where everytime I assign an artifact binary, it removes the windows platform and shows it as inactive. this is also messing with player groups which shows a “you do not own this” message, I know its the artifacts because I got it to work once somehow and then when I made a new patch it broke again. The portal is spitting out this error anytime I try to set a artifact.

I need to patch my game and do beta testing soon so I hope this can get fixed and a staff member sees this post.

Thanks for the error codes, they did help! We do need a bit more info on what is causing this issue. Do you have a working binary with platforms assigned which have been working for players in your player group?

We also have released a hotfix for the self publishing tool. I would recommend in trying again and if you receive any new errors, please let us know.

The only other beta with outside player groups I am running is on another app called “BoltBreak 2” that should be on this account, the issue seems to still be happening and it is happening outside the demo for “Skotos” with all apps and all binaries(newly selected/assigned, if its already selected/assigned and set from a few days ago or a week ago it still works).

I will attach a screenshot of what the dev portal pops up with when I set a new binary with windows option selected. I will also attach a screenshot of the error that pops up for player group members on the EGS launcher when you try to open the game that is being affected by a new build.

It says to manually set the windows version in the offer general but that is greyed out and I can’t do that for the demo because it inherits from the parent and the parent says its inherited from the artifact.

I was able to fix it, it was an issue with the player group. when I would open the epic account portal it would auto default to my business(not tester) account even if I manually signed in and out, probably because I was actively using the dev portal in another tab.

Once I made sure the epic account page was using the tester account and fixed the ID in the player group it started working again. For some reason I did have to redeem another code for it to reappear in my tester library after being readded to the player group, maybe that is intentional or a bug but until I redeemed it again with another game code it would show up as a string of numbers only in the quick launch tab of the launcher. I ended up crossreferencing the player group users from boltbreak 2 and then skotos and noticed the ID was incorrect for my account.

I am very sorry about all of this, I should have double checked the account signed into the epic games page. Thank you for all the help and working with me on this.
