I have been running 4.6.1 for a while without any major issues. Today I downloaded the content examples from marketplace.
When I ran it, my editor perspective viewport immediately began rotating, as though the mouse input was being constantly rotated.
Now I get the same in the various projects that I load. Although weirdly, it only seems to happen in a single viewport and only in perspective. If I switch the rotating viewport to TOP and set another viewport to perspective everything works as it should.
Does this occur in a blank project with no additional content? Additionally, is it specific to a type of project (first person, third person) or does it happen in multiple project types?
I just tried it with a new blank blueprint project (with and without starter content) and same thing. My other projects were code projects which were either from third person template or from shootergame. As I say, it only started when I downloaded the content examples this morning. Before that I hadn’t had this issue at all.
Weirdly enough, I’ve had this same issue before and thought it was the controller, so I took the controller out and it still span. But I didn’t think to start a new project with the controller unplugged, which does seem to have fixed it.
I think that’s happened is that somehow it installed new 360 controller drivers (I remember seeing something about that when I booted the machine this morning) and that’s done something weird. The fact that it kept spinning when I removed the controller suggests that the driver was maybe not initialized in some way. But either way, its fixed.
