[BUG] Straight-Forward Report: InternalError Internal compiler error inside CreateExecutionSchedule (site 2); there is an issue with node/pin manipulation that was performed in this graph, please contact the Blueprints team!

So first of all: KUDOS to the BP team for thinking to handle an exception like this in this way (letting the user know that they are dealing with and internal error, and how to approach it). Unfortunately, I know that this probably won’t see a response until Monday, but I have provided the blueprint that is triggering the error below. I’m pretty sure that the error may be resolved by just deleting the network and rebuilding it, so I’ll be trying that shortly. I just wanted to make sure that this was submitted.

The graph below produces the following compiler error:

Internal compiler error inside
CreateExecutionSchedule (site 2);
there is an issue with node/pin
manipulation that was performed in
this graph, please contact the
Blueprints team!

I’m going to try and rebuild this to see if I can bypass the error and continue with my development. I have also included my Editor Session Error Log in the hopes that it also helps the blueprints team. ([Session Log][2])

Is there anything else I need to do to help?

Hello ,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you let us know what blueprint the above screen shot is in?

Note: Please keep in mind that HUD blueprints and widgets/UMG are not the same.

Hello ,

We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will offer further assistance.

Thank you.

Hello Rudy, sorry for taking so long to get back on this. Bit of a crazy week…

To answer your questions:

  1. I have had this issue before in other projects, but I cannot reproduce it in a clean project.
  2. The project seems to happen somewhat randomly, but almost always when working with larger or complicated blueprints. Sorry I don’t have any more information than that.
  3. The screenshot was taken from the event graph of a normal blueprint. It is a HUD blueprint Called BP_ZHHUD and parented directly from the HUD class.

Thank you for the the information that you could provided. However, I am still unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Would it be possible for you to provide the project that reproduces this issue so that I could take a closer look?
