I have localized both the landscape and portrait “offer” images for my game. However, when shown in the “New Releases” section on the main store page, the English version is used for all languages. This was also true when the game was shown in the “Coming Soon” section. When shown in the “Browse” section though, the localized images do show up correctly. So I am guessing that this is a bug, rather than an incorrectly submitted image.
That obviously won’t matter for this game for long, but I am also guessing that it could affect all games, so it might still be useful for someone. I have not been able to verify this though, since there are not many games with localized offer images. Right now, you can at least see the effect for “12 orbits”.
For example, search for “Neue Veröffentlichungen” on the German homepage, and you will see the English offer image instead (the page may snap back to your own language, in which case you’ll have to select “Deutsch” in the upper right corner):

But if you look at the same game in the “Durchsuchen” section, it will show the German image instead:

If this is not a bug, of course I’d be interested to know how to fix it
