I’m have perfomance issue in 4.8 preview
Some detiles here iOS perfomance problem 4.8p3 - Mobile - Unreal Engine Forums
If you have ios device with metal support, can you help me get more info about that problem.
What i do:
- Download Sun Temple 4.7.6 version.
- In iOS settings set OpenGL ES2 rendering, and “Frame Rate Lock” at 60 fps
- Launch on device with ES2.
- on device in console print “stat raw” “stat fps”
- make screenshot
- agan set Metal Rendering.
- on device in console print “stat raw” “stat fps”
- make screenshot
- Download 4.8p4 .
- Open SunTemple with new UE4 version.
- Switch to OpenGL ES2 Rendering
- on device in console print “stat raw” “stat fps”
- make screenshot
- set Metal Rendering.
- on device in console print “stat raw” “stat fps”
- make screenshot
- Combine all screenshots and post here.
if you have same problems after switch at 4.8p4, please post here.
