Installation options in unreal engine is basically broken rn. Happened in both UE4 and 5
Scenario 1 : Checked every box ( also the core component checkbox is broken too )
Scenario 2 : Unchecked every box
As you can see whether I checked the boxes or not, installer is downloading the whole 34GB package. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling launcher and even cleared registry entries. Please fix this.
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Unreal Engine, instead Launcher?
Yes. I faced this while doing that
Core Components are mandatory, I think that you cannot uncheck them.
The 34GB package must be the Core Components (for some reason, it seems like you don’t have them installed.)
I’m out of ideas.
Supposing that you have already tried to reinstall Unreal Engine and Launcher, you can install that package and check if the bug keeps occurring.
Also, you can verify your Unreal installation, but I’m not sure if it will fix it.
Issue is fixed by the latest update to the launcher
