Bug 18965[Solved]: Texture Reprojection Stall 15%

Hi All,

 

Reprojecting small models from high to low poly works great.

I’m finding though my larger models are stalling at 15%. If I lower the unwrap setting for the destination model it seems to work.

Already discussed with RC support. Just interested to see if anyone else is have similar struggles.

Allo Nick I encounter a bug when i try to textyre a model made out of 2050 mages it says

i wonder if you could help me find the path to resolve that issue many thanks

Hi Robert,

By default RC creates one 8K texture. Your model is too big so you need to go to the Reconstruction tab -> Reconstruction Settings -> Coloring/Texturing -> Default unwrap parameters. In the settings you can change the Maximal texture resolution and Maximal texture’s count. For the best possible quality of the texture I recommend you to set Style to Fixed texel size and Texel size to Optimal. This way RC will create as many textures as needed  for your model with the best quality. I highly recommend you to search “Adjusting Coloring and Texturing Settings” in the help directly in RC, all the settings are explained there.
