I’m saving out a video and no matter what I do I always have a small rectangle in the upper left hand side of the screen. It doesen’t matter if I change the background color it remains, how to I get rid of it?
This is a screen shot of what I’m seeing.
Hello devinj,
which version and license of RC do you use? Can you please share the exact settings you used for export so that we can test it on our side? There should be individual images displayed in the upper-left corner of the video.
I’m using version 1.0.3.4658 and it’s a single computer license.
The settings I used are attached.
Which video file format did you use? Do you have this issue with all projects or only with this one? Did you change the path to the images or do you use RC only as a scene viewer (without loading the images)?
I tried to reproduce it but the problem did not appear on my side. Can you please try to open the video in different video player or try to export to a different file format?
Format is MP4, I had no issues and I’ve opened it in QuickTime but the box is still there. What format should I be using?
hello, this seems to be the same issue: https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003253831
Unfortunately it’s still there even if the background color is white, I’m not sure how no one else is experiencing this because it happens to me every time I save out a video.
I am getting the same result, a black rectangle in the top left corner of the video. Has anyone figured this out yet? If I change the background color, the rectangle stays black.
The SOLUTION is: In the “Compute flythrough video”-menu change the type from “Composite colored (textured)” to “Colored (textured)”
The small box window is gone.
I’ve got the same problem. A black square in the top left corner.
Jasper’s solution worked for me.
“shaded” also works fine
