Bucket simulation :D

Greetings to all guys, help with advice on how to make liquid in a bucket? A bit of information, I’m making a walking simulator to the well and back (in vr) But I just can’t find normal guides or information how to make suitable water

I’m reminded of this paid marketplace pack. I’m not advising that you buy it, but just wanted to point it out for a potential approach.

Is the core of the experience getting water from the well? (If so, cool)

I can imagine a circular water plane mesh that always tries to rotate to face upwards. (But rotation is clamped so it doesn’t rotate too far) - The walls of the bucket might have to be weirdly thick to allow for extra space to be taken up when rotating.

Could be combined with buffer/shader tricks. (The opposite of having a boat in water)

Not sure if viable, but I’m pretty sure a gif of scooping/pouring niagara fluids water would make you an instant twitter gamedev celebrity. :wink:
