Bsp face selection problem

i have problem selecting bsp faces. When i try to select faces sometimes it selects it or sometimes just highlights the face with different color.

on the screenshot one face is really selected and the other one is just highlighted. I have try to turn on and off translucent selection but it dose not help

I have the same issue on new version and on 4.22. It looks like this happens after sometime you use a project or when you have many BSP objects.
