BSP clipping off in level

In the scene, dragging the BSP past a certain point makes it disappear partially as though some kind of volume is booleaning it off. There doesn’t seem to be a volume there at all. It happens to all BSP past a certain line in the scene.

What might it be?

Thus far I have been unable to reproduce this on my end. Do you have a specific vector value that this begins to occur? If you place a bsp on the other side of the location does the entire bsp disappear?

Yes it disappeared entirely if pushed over the imaginary line. This wasn’t on my machine, it was a student’s scene. I can’t reproduce it either.
It seemed fairly far from the origin, but not super far. It’s unlikely the scene still exists now.

I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my end. If you manage to find out about how far away the bsp had to be to create this effect, please post here and let us know so we can keep trying to repro it. For now I will mark this as answered for tracking purposes.

the same thing happened to me in a way. i was building a barn and i saw that some of it was getting clipped. it was like an invisible wall that deleted anything that went in. unlike what happened to you, it was just like a very thin wall. after fiddling around, i found out there was a BSP that caused it, and thus i deleted it and made it again and problem was solved. i don’t know if that is the same with you, but it could be similar.

my advice is don’t use that part of the level, then again you did say that a student made it.
