Just wanted to post this here. This issue is a long standing bug with any and all UE4 based games that I have tried in the last 6 months at least. I use my windows taskbar at the top of the screen. Whenever I play a UE4 based game, in full screen, all UI elements for the game are off alignment. They appear in the correct place, but when you try to interact you must select an area quite a ways below the actual buttons/elements in order to trigger highlights or clicks.
Player Unknown Battle Grounds has the issue, as does EPIC’s own Paragon (present for many patches now). Every UE4 game in my steam library all seems to have the same bug.
The issues marked UE-36371 was marked as “Cannot Reproduce”. I don’t know how that is even possible with how common this error is.
Step 1. Move taskbar to top of screen. (mine is locked)
Step 2. Launch Paragon or PUBG (examples, any UE4 game should do)
Step 3. Set to Fullscreen (Native resolution)
Step 4. Try to navigate menus
That’s all you need to do to reproduce this bug. Like I said, last 6 months this has been in every UE4 game I’ve played. Including Paragon. Kinda sort of a big issue when you can’t even navigate the interface in fullscreen. Windowed mode doesn’t not have the same issues. It is specific to fullscreened games. I had the issue in both Windows 7 and Windows 10. I have rebuilt my system once, and gone through 2 different GPUs and all the latest drivers at the time. Issue still persists.
