Hello Fellow UE enjoyers.
I have a question; we are currently working on an RPG project and we are using the metahumans but rerigged with Blender Manny U5 skeleton.
Everything went fine, the mesh in the Viewport looks great, but in play, it deforms like this. Does anyone know the reason and solution for this?
Look like your bone axis are setup incorrectly causing them to flip on import.
Make sure they follow the same axis as the mannequin.
I cross referenced the mannequin with the mesh and they have the same direction tho
Then maybe you have the wrong bone settings upon export back to unreal?
Would you happen to know the right axis direction of import? Because it’s really weird that it works in the blueprints and in the viewport, but breaks completely during play. We are using a Mutable and everything is fine… it’s very odd
