Broken mesh when importing from Cinema 4D into UE5.2

Hello, I’m still new to Unreal but this is something which I’ve done many times and never had any problems. I’m trying to import a model from Cinema4D, I save it for CineWare, import it into Unreal 5.2 and everything is messed up. When I export the same model from Cinema4D as FBX and import into Unreal, the static mesh is perfect. I really need to work with the Cineware import scene but it just breaks the mesh. The left model is the FBX and right one is the CineWare import. Please help!

I’ve been experiencing the same issue. It seems that importing as USD assets through Nvidia Omniverse resulted in the fewest errors. Even now, if I import using FBX or Cineware, there are issues with the mesh breaking. Have you found any good solutions

What are the errors? is it missing geometry?
for FBX import have you tried to untick the remove degenerates
