Hi Epic Games / UEFN team,
I would like to request that the new Unreal MCP support added in Unreal Engine 5.8 also be brought to UEFN.
Unreal Engine 5.8 added an experimental MCP plugin that allows AI assistants and LLM tools to connect to the Unreal Editor, understand the project/editor context, and help users build assets, systems, and workflows.
I think this would be extremely useful for UEFN creators as well.
For UEFN, MCP support could help creators with:
- Verse scripting
- Verse error troubleshooting
- device setup
- Scene Graph workflows
- project organization
- debugging gameplay systems
- understanding editor settings
- improving overall game design workflow
Right now, UEFN creators have to manually copy Verse code, errors, screenshots, device settings, and project information back and forth into AI tools. If UEFN had official MCP support like Unreal Engine 5.8, AI assistants could better understand the project context and help creators build faster and more accurately.
This would be especially helpful for newer creators learning UEFN and Verse, but it would also help advanced creators working on larger games.
This is not a bug report. This is a feature request to bring the new Unreal Engine 5.8 MCP support/plugin to UEFN.
Thank you for all the work being done on UEFN. Bringing MCP support to UEFN would be a huge step forward for Fortnite creators.
