BRING BACK QUIXEL BRIDGE!

Hello,

I work in architectural visualization and use Quixel Bridge daily. In all my projects over the past three years, I have used Bridge in one way or another, which has shaped my workflow, and it has been a pleasure to use. Fantastic product, and all the various assets are of the highest quality, both 2D and 3D. Bridge is fast and easy to understand, and with one click, you can export exactly what you need directly into your DCC, in my case, 3ds Max.

Now it seems that Epic/Fab is choosing to shut down Quixel Bridge and its features, instead wanting us to use Fab’s online-based platform, which is far from being as professional and useful as Bridge. One could say it’s unacceptable in comparison to Bridge – it’s an absolute mess.

I just want a reasonable answer as to why you are choosing to remove a fully functioning product that so many use daily in their workflow. Why take away something that works so well for everyone? Rename Quixel and introduce a subscription fee – that would be reasonable, because such an amazing product like Bridge is worth paying for. We absolutely want new assets to be added, as well as improvements to be made in the future, which everyone understands costs money.

Don’t remove something that so many rely on for their daily work.
Please, bring Quixel Bridge back in some way!

Thank you!

I could’nt agree more.

100%. There’s another thread going where it was alluded to something “soon” will be announced.

But imo this needs to be way more clear, and soon. I feel like it’s being treated like a video game patch instead of the professional tool that Bridge is. Needs a complete rollback to a completely functional Bridge until Fab has a 1:1 solution for Quixel content.
