I made a very simple bridge in Blender with railings. After importing it to Unreal, it automatically made a box collision around it. How do I set up collision for walking on the bridge and bumping into the railings?
You can import custom collision meshes alongside your geometry. You have to create the collision meshes yourself, name them UCX_referencegeometryname, then export everything at once. If your bridge is a single object, and its name is Bridge01, every collision mesh you make should be named UCX_Bridge01.
The collision meshes can be custom, made from scratch, or just simple primitives. You can alternatively try luck with the built-in Auto Convex Collision tool from the editor, in the viewport of your imported object. Though in your case custom collision is the way to go.
hi,
I have moved this to content creation for you.
