Bounce lightning spell not working as intended. Using splines to draw the meshes. Help!

I’m making a bouncing lightning spell for a VR game, but having troubles with using splines to draw meshes from each enemy.

This is the blueprinting.

What’s supposed to happen:

What happens when running in full VR version, the spell seems to find other things to bounce to. What it bounces to is very inconsistent, making it very hard to figure out what exactly the problem is.
Taking screenshots of it happening is kind of hard as it’s in VR and it’s only for a split second each time. If you need any other screenshots of variables etc, i’ll try to be quick.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
