How do I set the bots up in the shootergame template so they run around and attack, utilizing their default behavior tree?

You don’t need to. Everything is already set up to work. You probably haven’t put down a navmesh in your scene?

How do I create a navmesh? Checking for tutorials…

In the modes tab search for “Nav Mesh Bounds Volume”, it basically looks like any other volume. Place this in your level and then edit the size so it encompasses all the area you want the A.I. to run around. Once that’s done, simply go to the build menu (same one where you build lighting, etc.) and click on “Build Paths”; and that’s it.

Your A.I. will now know how to navigate and run around your level- have fun!

Once you have it placed, press P to see it in glorious green-o-vision.
