Bone orientation & rolls in Blender skeleton not taking effect in UE5

Hello

I have a metahuman character that I’m trying to retarget in UE5. The retargeted animations look correct for the most part but needs some tweaks. For example, I want to be able to change the direction a finger bone gets retargeted so it points the same way as the original animation. I tried tweaking the bone rolls and orientation in Blender and imported back into UE5, however it seems to be taking no effect. I know it worked in UE4 so wondering if UE5 is treating retargeting differently. The IK rig and retargeter both look fine. Am I missing something?
