The core of the system is a realistic bodycam visual effect, designed to replicate the look and feel of real body-worn footage. It includes subtle vignette, head bobbing, fisheye, and weapon sway, helping create an immersive and grounded gameplay perspective.
To test gameplay interactions, the template includes a dummy target enemy that reacts to being shot. Bullets generate blood effects, and the target dies when its health reaches zero. When an enemy dies, an optional pixel censor material appears over the body. This feature can be disabled if you prefer not to use it.
Movement features include crouching and a customizable and smooth leaning system, allowing players to peek around corners in a natural way.
The asset also includes a grenade that deals damage based on radius, making it useful for testing explosive gameplay interactions.
This system is intended as a foundation for bodycam-style FPS projects, giving developers a ready-to-use base they can build upon, modify, and expand.
