So I’m completely new to Unreal Engine and I’m looking to make basically a virtual board game. The game would use a hex grid (civilisation style) on which tokens could be moved about on this grid. However, I want to be able to implement a fog of war, along with limitations on which hexes a token can be moved to. I’m not opposed to learning to code, I have a very basic understanding of Python and I’m willing to spend some time learning if it’ll allow me to do what I’m wanting for my game. If you give an answer please break it down and simplify it, I’m intelligent but am completely new to this style of software.
