Blurry Output in nDisplay - 4K Signal Setup for LED Panels (Unreal 5.2)

Hi everyone,

I’m working on creating live content for a stage surrounded by LED panels using Unreal Engine 5.2 and nDisplay. The setup involves four screens: front, back, left, and right. Each screen is very wide but not tall, and the content appearing on all screens needs to be sent as two 4K signals to the LED processor.

For testing purposes, I’ve currently configured the first 4K output, which includes the left and right LED screens, with the front and back screens removed. I’ll attach a screenshot showing my current configuration for better clarity.

Here’s my setup:

  • Screens: Four (front, back, left, right), each divided into multiple stripes.
  • nDisplay Configuration: UV maps are properly set up in the nDisplay editor to handle stripe division.
  • Graphics Card: RTX 4090.
  • Output Quality Issue: When launched via Switchboard, the content appears blurry.
  • Settings Adjustments: I’ve enabled high precision UVs and tried various anti-aliasing methods, but the issue persists.
  • Hardware/Software: Unreal Engine 5.2.

I’m wondering if there could be a resolution limitation in nDisplay or some other configuration that I might have missed.

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue or have insights on how to achieve sharp, high-quality visuals with this type of setup?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
