Hello Everyone, having trouble figuring out why my meshes are loosing quality after being placed int the game world (left sword) … Why don’t they stay sharp and clear like in the skeletal view (right sword) ? My guess is that maybe it’s a nanite or lumen issue … Anyone knows what I need to turn on or off for it to look sharp and clear in both cases?
Also if anyone has any tips on moving assets from blender to unreal I’d greatly appreciate it, the part I can’t figure out is how to texture things in blender so after exporting them Unreal they look the same … My “work around” is just adding white material to everything in blender, exporting .fbx or a .glb file, importing that to unreal and adding textures from quixel bridge directly in unreal, but after adding textures in unreal everything turns to blur… Like in the left photo…
In the photo with the head. the head was imported from blender and no textures were changed in unreal, looks sharp and clean. The sword in front of it was imported from blender but it’s textures were added from quixel bridge and it looks blurry as hell… Why?
If anyone could point me to some reading materials of video instructions that’d be really great.
Thank You for your time.
