BluePrints do not communicate

Hello.

I need to create an AI that persecutes me and puch me when it gets in range. By now the Ai gets to the place where I am but then I can´t make it star the punch animation. I HAVE TO DO THIS IN UNREAL ENGINE 4.5 and I can´t cast a message to the Animation Blue print to start the punch animation, I do not know why, but the Ai’s character Blue print and its Animation Blue print do not cast messages betwen them.

In your Character/AI BP, find the options for the Blueprint somewhere near the top you will see a dropdown menu for what Animation AI should use make sure you have selected it to use that AI AnimGraph you created. Not on my machine right now so I can’t tell you exactly what it is called.
