Blueprint : String variable accentuated chars removed at compilation

Hi,

I’m trying to display some accentuated texts in a blueprint string variable for later display on screen with my hud blueprint.

I can write any text in the string input value.

Unfortunately when i press the compile button, accentuated chars are replaced by questions marks “?”.

And if i write the accentuated string directly inside a drawText node “Text” field, the accentuated chars arent replaced at compilation, they stay the same. But they are replaced by question marks “?” when drawn on screen.

Is there any way to draw accentuated chars with the hud blueprint ?

This issue is no longer occurring in 4.4.3, please let us know if this is still a problem for you and we will be happy to further investigate.
