I’d love to have a universal comment node that we can connect to any pin, to keep track of what that pin is outputting. Photoshop mockup:
How would this be more functional than already existing node comments?

It wouldn’t be, I just never saw the node comment option before!

I am a Moderator but i’m just a normal community member, i don’t work at Epic. 
I asked out of curiosity and make it clear why it would be useful. So, currently when you right click on a node you can add comment to that node and when you right click anywhere on the canvas you can create a comment that you can also use to cover multiple nodes.
