Blueprint nodes disappear graph and values changing after I relaunch Project?


As you can see underlined in red, either nodes were completely gone or replaced with a custom event.

Functions and events are both interface functions. I’m sure I saved before I closed project and when I loaded it up few hours later code stopped working and this was why.

Additionally I been having problems with Behavior Tree, In my task I would have a blackboard key selector variable and it would change the value by itself. The Task_Focus “Focus Target” blackboard key selector should be set to “AttackTarget”, however sometimes it would change to “SelfActor” for some reason… after relaunching prj.

Also my mesh for the AI character just reset itself too.

It just happened again guys, 6 hours later I suffer the same problem… after connecting and making everything works unreal just decided to make my interface event into a custom function.

I am having the same issues. hopefully this gets looked at because my nodes just disappear after saving and committing to revision.

This issue is likely due to a corrupted Blueprint or a problem with saving changes. To resolve:

  1. Save Correctly: Always save your Blueprint before closing the project.
  2. Check for Corruption: If nodes disappear, the Blueprint might be corrupted—try recreating it.
  3. Recompile: Recompile and resave the Blueprint before closing the project.
  4. Engine Version: Ensure you’re using a stable version of Unreal Engine.

If the problem persists, consider migrating the Blueprint to a new project.
