hi, i hope its the right place to post this.
so i made a switch that trun off and on a light. with Blueprint Interfaces, when i place it and test it on the level in the simulation everything works fine but when i place another light actor the switch i made will only turn one and not the other even if a moment ago he did worked on the first one.
did.
my question is those a Blueprint Interfaces works only one on one ? can one sender effect more then one receiver?
you can turn on multiple lights with an interface. your switch just needs to loop through an array of lights that you’ve assign to it, and send the interface message to each one. or you can use an event dispatcher.
this is the best blueprinting 101 tutorial out there. I always recommend it to people getting started.
If you are new this tutorial series may be helpful to you. It is geared towards those with no prior programming background. Video #24 specifically discusses the basics of setting up an interface and how to use them.
If you post your blueprints I can provide more specific help for your issue.
