Blueprint error: Class named creating its CDO while changing its layout

Hello,

I tried to create a PC package and got this error. What does it mean? The BP class mentioned here hasn’t been modified for about a year and we have never had this error before. I tried to recreate the affected class but then it showed up that more classes were having the same error, so I don’t think that was the best solution. Searching the forum didn’t give me any solution since there doesn’t seem to be anyone had this problem before, so now I’m quite stuck here.

I suspect that it might be related to some refactoring on the CPP character class that I did recently but I can’t say for certain also since there’s no useful information in the logs.

Another info that might be useful is all of the affected classes are AnimNotifyState sub-classes.

Well CDO is basically the constructor. Perhaps the cache is causing problems (could be stale)

Try deleting:

  • Binaries
  • DerivedDataCache
  • Intermediate
  • Saved

recompile and see if the CDO stops throwing errors.

Is the BP_AnimNotifyState_AddMovement parent class a custom c++ extending UAnimNotifyState?
