BLUEPRINT based project always crashing

My project ‘Die Franken’ runs pretty well in the editor. I make a package and the I start the executable.

crash

Is there a way to get information about what might cause the crash?

I am still trying to find why my project always crashes. Nobody with ideas?

Should I ask this in another section of this forum?

First of all, check your folder “Saved\Crashes” and look inside the log files.

I see the file with the ending .log. But I don’t understand enough what these lines want to tell me:

I think this is not the correct log file. Anyways, my first guess, mostly this error - if it runs in PIE - says that you are missing an asset that you want to use but don’t check it before usage (Null-pointer exception).

You can add additional directories for packing if you load something by code maybe.

Try to disable as much as possible, enable features until you can see which aspect might cause the error. These errors are kinda hard to identify by remote.

I finally found the reason why my project always crashed when the packed version was started:

The game crashed immediately after getting started, but this custom event has never been called.
The simple fact that a mutually damaged level sequence was referenced caused the crash.

As my project has 48,000 files it took extremely long to find that.
I just wanted to let you all know that. You possibly might run intio a similar problem.
