Blocky assets in editor, new GPU or settings?

Hey folks!

I’m wondering why my assets in the editor sometimes look like minecraft blocks. While I’m working, it looks like everything is at the furthest LOD. This sucks when doing detail work like trying to match mosses on Megascans rocks. I do have a large open world, fairly optimized though, and I usually only work on one level at a time. I’m hoping I don’t have to buy a ridiculously expensive new graphics card…

UE 4.27.2 PC with RX2070 (8gb) and 32mb ram, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X.

With the Megascans stuff, if I browse to the asset in the content browser it loads the correct LOD, but that means I can’t search for, say, “rock” without having all the assets look like lumps. I have to scroll through and open the entire folder, eg the folder for YetAnotherRock_WIHUIAWHDWH.

It looks like it’s just still streaming in the textures

It totally looks like that!
However, it never changes unless I open up the asset folder. As soon as I open the folder, everything loads in correctly, at least for the megascans stuff.
