I noticed there is a lack of support for developers who want to onboard web3/blockchain based games onto the Epic Games Platform. I was wondering if anyone could help me out in answering my questions regarding onboarding my blockchain game?

  1. “As all payments are collected external to the Epic Games marketplace, what is the revenue sharing agreement between, You Epic Games, and us the Developers of the game? What constitutes as revenue in this context.”

2 “Links to any blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency marketplaces are not allowed on store pages.” from your website. Does this mean that all associate hyperlinks and external buttons will have to be accessed within the game?"

  1. If we choose to release on Epic Games, do we have the right to re-release on a separate platform in the future?

  1. Any purchases made outside of the Epic Games Store is not subject to revenue share with Epic Games. Only purchases within the Games Store itself is subject to revenue split with Epic. So if your game is free to download and play, then no split is necessary.

  2. Correct, access to the any blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency marketplaces would have to take place either in game or on your own domain.

  3. Yes, you have the ability to release on all other platforms, keep in mind, games that are released on other platforms may have some parity requirements to remain on the store. For example achievements or crossplay.
