BlendSpace animation rate scale not updating

Hello everyone. Here is a screenshot of my LadderBlendSpace_BP. As you can see, i set the same animation for ascending and ascending quickly, and the same goes for descending. The ascending is working perfect, and it updates the speed of the animation normally. However the descending animation is not updating and it keeps playing at the same original speed at both -210 and -350 BlendSpace positions.

The rate scale in the original descending animation is -1, as i duplicated the ascending animation and set the scale to -1 to reverse the animation. Maybe that has something to do with it.

this is the exact problem I’m having as well. would love to hear some ideas, so maybe this will bump it enough?

My issue is that I’m trying to allow a character to run faster with the same animation. so, I have a grid point at their default speed, and have put the same anim in a higher speed grid point with a rate scale. but the rate scale doesn’t take at all. I know this has worked in the past, so seems there’s a “duh” checkbox somewhere?
