I’m hoping someone has been able to do this before, but basically I have a character who uses an animation blendspace for basic locomotion animation ie. moving forward/backward/left/right. I’m using a Layered Blend Per Bone node to blend shooting animations from the torso up so the character can move and shoot at the same time.
I’m having a bit of trouble with scale, however. My animations are cartoony in style, so have a fair amount of squash and stretch, which works for the torso up when firing, but ideally I would like to take whatever scale information there is in the currently playing montage and apply it to the character from the root bone up. Something like this;
Hopefully I’ve explained it clearly enough, any help would be greatly appreciated!
