BlenderUserSkfb - 1753 Latin Text Plate, 3D‑Printable Relief - Brody (Pförten) Forst Gate Inscript

This 3D model reproduces the Latin inscription plate located on the rear side of the Forst Gate in Brody, formerly known as Pförten. The inscription consists of three lines of raised lettering:

AD MDCCL III

PORTA VRBIS PFORTHEN

FELICITER EXSTRVCTA

In the year 1753

The gate of the city of Pforten

Happily/Successfully erected

The text records the construction of the city gate in the year 1753 and states that the structure was successfully erected. The original lettering has no modern typographic equivalent, so each character was manually reconstructed and modeled in three dimensions to match the proportions and geometry of the historical plate.

The model consists of a back plate and a full set of three‑dimensional letters arranged in their documented layout. All geometry is manifold, meaning the mesh is fully watertight and suitable for 3D printing, CNC milling, or resin casting. An STL version is included, along with other standard 3D formats.

The inscription can be used as a background element in film or game environments, particularly in scenes requiring historically grounded architectural details. The letters can be rearranged to form new text for custom projects, and individual characters can be printed to replace missing or damaged letters in architectural restoration work. The material in the preview is gold for visibility, but the model can be assigned any material to match stone, plaster, or other surfaces.
