I have created a character in Blender (mesh + skeleton) and I would like to use the Clothing Tool in UE4 for my character’s scarf : https://i.imgur.com/CGo53DP.png
But I can’t only select my scarf for making a cloth… I am forced to select all my character to make a cloth with the “section selection”. Here are the components and the meshes I have exported : https://i.imgur.com/ZIwdrYi.png
I just selected all the meshes + the armature at the end and I have no problems so far when I imported into UE4. Any ideas ?
No, just assign a new material to the scarf. I mean, you don’t have to do that, you could apply clothing to the whole mesh and only add weight to the scarf if that’s more convenient.
I already try to apply clothing to the whole mesh (27k vertices) and UE4 crashed everytime But you’re right, I just a material slot for my scarf and now I can select it ! Thank you very much sir !
