Blender -> Unreal Engine Root Motion and Retargetting.

Hey folks,

I was working with an issue with retargetting an armature for Root Motion and I had an issue where the Root bone was not behaving correctly. Either the Root bone was anchored or the root bone was not translating or moving correctly.

After some fiddling around I found that I needed to Select the Root in the Chain Mapping (inside the Retargetter) and then enable “Translation Mode: Globally Scaled”.

After I did that, Root Motion animations I had purchased off the Marketplace were working properly. I hope these are enough keywords to help someone like me in the future who is google searching for results.
