Blender Model not shaded correctly

I need some help importing a model from Blender. I use autosmooth in blender and have exported the fbx using normal, face and edge smoothing methods. In Unreal, I tried importing both normals and tangents and just the normals. Nothing works. I can still see the side edges of the cylinder in unreal.

I appreciate any help!



I faced the same problem and I think (don’t remember exactly) managed to fix it with, File > Export > FBX and in the right panel at Geometry > Smoothing, change “Normals Only” to “Face”.

By the way, try with object data properties > Normals > Auto Smooth
