Blender fbx extra root


I have an issue when exporting a character with fbx from Blender 2.69/2.70, it adds an extra root . I already modified the fbx export python script, still when importing to UE4 there is an extra root bone. This extra root is annyoing because I want to use root motion.
Anyone can help ? :slight_smile:


i’ve used blender to test character workflow add haven’t had this problem since i edited the fbx exporter file

can you check by first importing the mesh/rig check/save , then import the anims

Ok, I was wrong actually the blender script for deleting root bone works but UE4 when reimporting keeps old skeletal rig…
