Hey guys. I’ve animated an FPS arm and a gun to test out some ideas in Unreal. The problem is, it seems like the animations play at different rate or for some reason they do not match. Here’s the video of the same animation playing in Blender and Unreal. When I import the meshes/animations to the Unreal, I receive no error messages. I’ve tried naming the bones differently, exporting the meshes/animations separately, etc. but have no idea why this is happening.
You probably attached the gun to the wrong bone.
Or worse, you added it as a separate mesh without setting the master pose component.
If you did the second thing, go back to the drawing board on how to do weapons for games…
