Blender 3D modelling tips needed

Greetings !

My name is Edwin , I started modelling serious modelling around 2 weeks ago and I just want to know if Im doing well by now + I want to hear some tips from you guys . I need a way to make “Round/Curved” grips , I wanna know how I can texture these models with realistic textures and lastly I want to know how I can rig ( or if I need to rig guns ) gun models so that I can animate and import to the engine …

other than that if you have some other tips that can help my modelling , that would be greatly appreciated !
