I have a rig that is using blend shapes. I export to FBX and the blend shapes do not import into UE5 despite having the “import morph target” checked on. I checked the fbx inside of Maya, and the shapes import correctly. Anyone have any ideas why they would show in maya but not in engine?
More information: I tried opening the fbx in Maya (loads correctly) and re-exporting. However, the blend shape target names were changed to Weight[0] instead of their name.
I also went into Maya and deleted the blend shape node, and made a new one, but I had the same results where the blend shapes would not import into engine.
I just fixed this 30 seconds ago… when exporting from blender uncheck apply modifiers under the Geometry dropdown. Hopefully this fixes your problem:)))

Rename your inputs module to “Morpher”. It helped to me.
