Blend alembic grometry cache

Hello,
Is it possible to blend between either multiple geometry caches or one cache, that has been cut in the sequencer, and blend them in the same way as skeletal animations in sequencer?

I believe it could work in the same way like blendshapes, if they have the same vertex IDs, it should be possible to blend between them?

When i cut geometry cache into more parts in sequencer and overlap them, it doesnt blend, it just jumps from one part to another in one frame.
